I purchased the full Alien Skin bundle including Exposure 5 March 10th, I used the discount code from Lara Jade…just wondering if I’m eligible for the free upgrade to 6, or will I just go ahead and purchase the upgrade. I have yet to receive an email with the upgrade details. Any info you can offer woudl be great, love, love, love this software, it’s revolutionised my editing workflow :)

Just hit the Exposure section of the website, download the free trial of Exposure 6 and enter your licence code when prompted. Click on Photoshop when asked. Easy peasy!

This is so great of you. I got on this page after googling “alien skin can i use my own textures” ;) so obviously this is a feature I’m really looking forward to. I’m on my trial run now, really enjoying playing with Exposure. It’s great to know I don’t have to postpone the purchase till the new version comes out, but only wait for my upgrade. Looks like I’m sold!

These photos were provided to us by professional photographers who take the base presets and adapt them to their own tastes, so it’s difficult to give specifics on the filters used. However, we will be providing some other examples soon so you can compare and contrast the look of the presets. If you haven’t already, you can also download the free trial of Exposure 5 and play with that if you’d like to see how your images look.

Right now we aren’t adding any new functionality to Bokeh, but that could definitely come in the future. Getting Bokeh into Exposure was the main goal, along with a ton of new Exposure features. The big thing is that you can use Bokeh and Exposure at the same time and in the same interface, saving you time in your workflow.

As to the gradient mask, Bokeh won’t see it in the software. Selections are quite different. It will recognize those. Perhaps that’s something we can do in the future. Thanks for the suggestion.

No, you will not need to produce a receipt. We have records of everyone who purchased our products during or after March of this year. You will receive an email with your new license code and download links. If the product hits the store and you haven’t received your free upgrade, check your spam folder, and then contact us at support@alienskin.com if you still can’t find it.

Exposure 6 will not be officially compatible with OS X 10.7. That being said, please feel free to download it and check it out on your system before buying it.

Yes. Whenever you purchase a product from us, your license code will work on either PC or Mac or both. Just purchase Exposure 6 and download whichever installer you need for your system.
