Hi Peggy,

I sure can.

Exposure began as a film effects plug-in and there are still photographers who use it that way. Exposure has editing capabilities that Lightroom doesn't have. It also has a huge library of well-researched looks for photos. Even though you can use Exposure as a plug-in, making it your central organizing tool allows you to access its unique editing tools much more simply and efficiently.

We haven't tested using Exposure with Enfuse, so I can't give you a concrete answer about its compatibility, but if it runs as an external editor from Lightroom, it will most likely work with Exposure.

Hi Jimmy. I did, but didn't really get any specific answers. I am downloading the trial to use-obviously the best answer, but I do not have tons of spare time to learn new products at the moment.

It seems to me that Exposure x2 is more or less like Lightroom, but it doesn't require the importing photos or the links for opening catalogs, which I like. It seems it might have benefits as an image organization tool if one does not like those features in lightroom.

I am a little confused as to why one would use Exposure x2 as a plugin in lightroom if one already has lightroom? Can you shed some light on this for me? My questions regarding real estate are based on what I have read about EX2. It seems to emulate film etc, and I am wondering if it is limited to those types of effects. I use Enfuse with Lightroom for photo blending as a plug in. Do you know if Enfuse is compatible with EX2?

Hi Rosemary,

The video in this article shows how to install one of Google Software's Nik Collection apps as an external editor into Exposure X2. If that's what you're looking for, I'd download the free trial and try it out.

I have Exposure X and it does all I want it to. I'd upgrade to the latest version ...if I could access my Nik filters with it. So far, I've been unable to get my Nik filters into Photoshop 2017.
What is your advice?

Hi Peggy,

Thanks for the comment. Exposure does not have photomerge abilities, but you can add software for making HDR images as an external editor. With regard to real estate photographers, have you tried reaching out in the Exposure Users group on Facebook?
