Hi Blair. Thanks for using Exposure. We’ve seen this happen before. Lightroom 6 dates back to pre-subscription software, which can cause issues, especially on newer computers. You can manually point Exposure to your image files. This is the “old” way of doing things before the migration plug-in was created. Here is a link to an article with all the steps in the process. If that doesn’t fix it, let’s get you in contact with our support team, here.

Thanks for commenting, Bob. Yes and no. You can have Exposure open a folder of files, or a website, or another software program once it completes exporting, but it doesn’t integrate directly with one. Our Launching Apps on Export video shows you how you can set that up.

Most printing services have free software for designing photo books. That list includes bigger names such as Blurb, Millers Labs, Shutterfly, etc. Shutterfly’s design tool is browser-based, so you don’t have to download anything before you can upload images to create a book. It’s a simple process of dragging and dropping your final jpegs.

Hi Jeroen, thanks for the comment. This article has a detailed list of what can and can’t be migrated from Lightroom. Virtual Copies is not on that list, unfortunately.

Thank you for the clear presentation. I have one question however about Lightroom’s virtual copies. How does the import tool handle those? Are they saved as a separate file or are they ignored? Would love to hear from you.
