Thanks for the comment, Lana. You can see a demo of setting up Exposure X6's automatic adjustments in this video on Facebook.

You can modify the strength of each of the auto adjustments to your liking. Once you have them working the way you like, you shouldn't need to continue adjusting them. A simple workflow for dialing them in is to work with each adjustment individually. Start with applying auto white balance only and adjusting the strength. With the effect appearing how you like, turn white balance off and move down to auto exposure. Follow this pattern until all you have to set all of the auto options. And then, you can simply choose the automatic option you wish to use when editing.

Thanks for commenting, Frank. That camera model is on our list and we are actively working on incorporating support for it. In the meantime, you can convert photos taken with that camera to DNG.

We liked X5 very much after we got familiar with it.
Now we are waiting for direct support for our Olympus OM-D-E-M1-Mark-III. We have that camera for half a year by now. It is disappointing to see that X6 still has no support for our camera.

Thanks for sharing, Thomas. The sliders you mentioned are more accurate, so they might seem less responsive. I'll share your comments with the development team.

Hi Tom. Those are correct observations. Video files are not supported and neither are HEIC format images. Both are on our list to integrate into a future version of Exposure.

I'm reviewing Exposure X6 at this time. At a quick glance after downloading and installing, I noticed a shortfall:

Please allow me to give my (very) first impressions. Faster indeed, but I expected greater improvement in terms of shadow detail recovery. Whites and Blacks sliders are also considerably less responsive than in X5. Still, an excellent and versatile editor. Thank you.

Wow! Great work. Really fast! The Advanced Color Editor is super powerful and yet easy to use. I've got a lot more exploring to do, but I definitely already like it enough to upgrade from x5. And I appreciate the manual - should cut down on emails to Support :)
