Our Origin Story
Way back in 1993, a UNC graduate student named Jeff Butterworth left school to build one of the world’s first commercial Photoshop plug-ins. Finley Lee joined him quickly thereafter, and Exposure Software (formerly known as Alien Skin Software) was born. They released the Eye Candy plug-in for Adobe Photoshop, which is still going strong today.
In the decades since, Exposure Software has steadily evolved to become an industry-leading creator of award-winning image editing software. Photographers and graphic designers appreciate the creative possibilities and time savings that Exposure Software’s products provide them.
