I’m always happy to talk about how hard the team at Alien Skin Software is working to improve our products. It’s exciting to see everyone burning the midnight oil to make Exposure X2 the best version yet!
While the development team is busily pounding away at their keyboards to make improvements to Exposure, I’ll toot their proverbial horns and show off another slick new feature in the upcoming Exposure X2.
This sneak peek video shows off some of the new presets added to Exposure’s expansive library of looks. We’re calling them faded presets. They are great choices if you’re looking for a simple, faded look without additional elements. They emphasize a clean, faded look without using overlays or heavy grain. Common themes across all 18 of these new presets are tone curve variation, split toning and color casts, and subtle sharpening and blur effects. Lifted blacks in these presets give a hazy or dreamy effect to your images. Watch the video to see what to expect!
It would be nice to see some tintype presets.
It looks like my favorite post processing company is doing it again. I have a great deal of respect for Alien Skin and their products. I have used Exposure X with excellent results. Keep it up. I also would like to see an update of Snap Art soon. Thanks for being one of the best.
