The Border Marker selection tool introduced in Exposure X7 makes quick work of generating detailed layer masks. We made this video to demonstrate how to use the Border Marker tool to create a selection, refine the selection, and then use that selection for applying editing adjustments.
Using a Border Marker to create a selection in Exposure works great for objects with defined edges. There are numerous tools that refine the selection boundaries, such as Add and Exclude markers or polygons. We also suggest ways to improve the visibility of masks as you’re creating them.

The Edge Selection Tool seems very promising for me as a nature / wildlife photogrher, saving lots of tedious brush strokes! Kudos to the development team for implementing this feature!
