There is no limit to the creative looks you can make with Snap Art. You can easily control paint thickness and canvas type to achieve a variety of textured looks. We made this video to show you how to build up heavy, thick effects in Snap Art using texture in the paint and canvas.
Watch the video and learn how to create a unique painterly look with dense, textured paint. You’ll see which artistic styles work with thick paint, how to select the best canvas texture, and how to give it a wet or dry appearance. By the end, you will know how to create a custom look in Snap Art with built-up texture that perfectly augments your artwork.
Hi, Jimmy….I love my Exposure software, even my old ones which I’m considering upgrading. However, “sorry but not sorry”, I have to say that the choice of image to use in you demo is TERRIBLE! It is all-over dead and dark and I can hardly tell one of your shifts from another. Do this OVER and use a bright, colorful image with contrasting colors in it–like maybe a lovely floral bouquet painting. I hope you DO a new one!
Hi Doris — thanks for the comments. It’s interesting that you mention using a more colorful image for this video. That was my exact same idea I had when I started developing the demonstration. However, the goal of the video was to demonstrate the texture of the canvas and paint. Duller gradients like the side of the barn did a better job of illustrating changes to the look. The brighter, bolder colors of other images looked pretty in thick paint, but adjustments to canvas texture were lost in the mix.
