Rummaging through your photo archives for a specific image can be a daunting task. It’s tough to remember every detail about a certain shot be it the year, shoot, camera settings, model, or client. If this sounds like you, Exposure X2’s new metadata search is right up your alley.
You can type what you’re looking for in the metadata search field, and Exposure will show you all the images that match. Exposure can find images by a variety of criteria – camera make and model, lens type, ISO, copyright info, and more. Watch the video to see it in action!
Exposure X2 ships this fall. If you haven’t used Exposure before, try it free for 30 days and experience a smarter, faster way of creating beautiful images. And, if you buy Exposure X anytime on or after June 16th, we’ll send you Exposure X2 for free.
Visit the Exposure X2 preview page to watch the rest of our sneak peek videos. We’ll be releasing a new one every few weeks until we release the product this fall.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
Great! Will it also read the metadata keywords added via Lightroom etc?
At the moment Exposure reads the camera metadata stored in the RAW file. We’ll consider reading data from other sources in a future release.
I currently use Lightroom and photoshop. Would like to switch to x2 but I am heavily invested in LR’s keyword tags. It is important to me that the keywords be available in Exposure X2.
Hi Barry,
There isn’t support for bringing over keywords from Lightroom just yet. Here is an article that explains what information is carried over when moving from Lightroom to Exposure.
I hope there is an update on its ways to allow keywording. This would be a deal breaker.
Thanks for the comment, Roberto. We’re looking at adding the feature in an upcoming release. We’ll post about it here when our plans are definite.
